Well, things must move on I guess. Gnome has launched its new version, so we may see even more changes in the near future. As it is with most changes, there is always a lot of resistance, but given enough time things will fall into place… I am sure the people of Canonical will make the right moves for their project.

Well, its a nice but hard change, i wont switch to it until they add a right click to top panel allow legacy objects in panel.. Its also heard that there will not be classic ubuntu desktop from 12.10.. :(

He was right on this. A lot of Android tablets are coming out right now. Which is awesome for the market to have more and more cool options to the pricey iPad. It is always good to have options. :)

I love these kinds of publications. A note to look out for is that these things change quickly. Something not supported today by one or other browser might get support overnight, depending on how efficient the teams behind each browser are working towards good compatibility. Truly speaking, it is going to be war, simply because the specs are not fully written, and every browser maker is just implementing stuff based on choice, of what seems “done” who knows if the W3C comes back and changes something that looked like it was “done”!

I always thought that by now, they would have gotten their act together… but it seems this year they have a chance to get their act together. Apparently the gap between their hardware part of the product just got wider. According to a ZDNet article I read about it, the new ATI card is just incredible compared to anything nVidia has on the shelves right now. However, nVidia slipped up and revealed info about a new product ahead of time. As if saying: “Not because you got up earlier, you’ll beat me to our destination.” So, they too have a new product, and apparently it will give them bragging rights… we shall see!

ati has better hardware but sucks at making drivers, it is the only reason why they dont win this
