Some History…
EffectiX Web Design is a D.B.A. for Jorge L. Morales Castillo. He is the only person behind the whole operation of EffectiX Web Design, so there is a lot for him to do, as programmer, graphic artist, sales representative and promoter.
It has been a while now since Jorge Morales started doing business as EffectiX Web Design. It’s been quite the ride. It certainly is no simple endeavor. However Mr. Morales would not have it any other way, being his own boss is simply the best work experience he can possibly get.
Knowing that he’ll be just as successful as the amount of effort he puts into each project, he gives his all on every single one of his client’s projects to make sure they get what they need, and then some. It is not easy to flow in this line of work. Many people undervalue this type of work, thinking that it is worth a lot less than it actually is worth. That market trait, together with the needs a person has, and how long one can go without getting paid, pushed the price down by a lot during the last year. Thanks to that fact, Mr. Morales was able to earn some more clients compared to the first semester of freelancing (approximately first half of 2009).
Why choose this format?
Jorge Morales is a person. Not a company. He doesn’t care for strict and boring corporative presentations. If his brand is going to be displayed, let it be displayed with a heart beating inside its chest. He is his brand. He puts his heart and soul in his work. He likes to think he does it right and so far, feedback tells him just that. Obviously that is open to conceptual perception, what is right for someone, might not be what is right for you or the next person. It is a concept. Although Mr. Morales has pretty high standards for the work he does. He doesn’t like to repeat his work all over the place, making identical copies of it. He likes variety in the design, and also complexity of the work is not always the same. It will depend on what the client wants to accomplish.
